  Dr. Shanti Ranganathan
  Driven by an intense desire to help suffering alcoholics and their families, she founded the center at a time when treatment for addiction was an unknown concept. The momentous growth of the organization is a proof of her untiring efforts and wholehearted commitment to the cause . The Padma Shri title conferred by the Government of India and her doctoral thesis on ‘Community Approach of Treatment’ are just two of her credits
 
  Dr. R.R. Cherian
  Dr Cherian has been associated with the organization since its inception and now heads the Research Department and treatment services. Her numerous clients over the past 25 years acclaim her counseling skills.
 
  Dr. Anita Rao
  She has been the head of the Medical Wing for the past 17 years. Apart from being responsible for providing medical services during primary treatment as well as follow up, she coordinates and supervises the entire medical unit.
 
  Dr. V. Thirumagal
  V. Thirumagal is programme consultant. She spends her time improving the quality of services provided at the centre. She also conducts staff development programmes for the counseling staff. She is an excellent speaker and a resource person for NCDAP, UNODC and Colombo Plan.
 
  Ms. Jacqueline Allenby David
  Jacqueline is a Senior Counselor and coordinator for the Regional Resource and Training Centre (RRTC). She has been working at the centre for more than 20 years. She conducts training programme for industrial personnel.
 
  Ms. Revathy Narayanaswamy
  Revathy, a Senior Counselor, has been working with us for more than 17 years. She enjoys conducting re-educative sessions for clients.
 
  Ms. Sudha Mani
  Ms. Sudha Mani has gained extensive experience in organizing community programmes. She has been conducting six treatment camps every year for the past 10 years. She has done a lot of work in the area of prevention of HIV-AIDS and Alcoholism in villages.
She is in-charge of the Relapse wing , conducting relapse prevention and management programmes.
 
  Ms.Reshma Malick
  Ms.Reshma along with Sudha manages the Relapse wing. She is a trained art therapist and has incorporated many activities as part of relapse prevention and management programmes.
 
  Ms. Aditi Ghanekar
  Ms. Aditi co-ordinates training programmes for post graduate social work and psychology students, medical and nursing students. She has proficiency in Hindi, hence, provides counseling to North Indian patients. She visited Australia to learn about new programmes offered by ‘Turning Point’.
 
  Ms. Jyothi
  Ms. Jyothi heads the Nursing Department, and she is a resource person for training programmes conducted for nurses. She takes special interest in ensuring the cleanliness of the centre.
 
  Ms. Rajeshwari
  Ms. Rajeswari J who has done her M.Phil. in Social Work, has worked in both the Primary and After Care Centres.
 
  Ms. Sheeba Williams
  Ms. Sheeba a social worker supervises students of social work who come for field placement. She has undergone training in ASI at Nigeria organized by UCLA.
 
  Ms. Jayasree Subramanian
  Ms. Jayasree Subramanian has done M.Phil in psychology and has been working as a counselor. She was trained in psycho social management of addiction by trainers of University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) for 4 weeks at Egypt and England under the sponsorship of UNODC.
 
  Ms. Adeline Andrews
  Ms. Adeline Andrews has done post graduation in social work and has been managing the After Care Centre for the past three years. She was trained in Screening, Assessment, and Treatment Planning by trainers of University Of California Los Angeles (UCLA) for 4 weeks at Egypt and England under the sponsorship of UNODC.
 
  Ms. Jude Jacinta
  Ms.Jacinta coordinates the camp programmes conducted in villages Tamil Nadu. She also manages treatment offered to patients free of charge. She ensures quality service to patients who are treated free.
   
 
  Ms. Jeyamary
  She has been working as a counsellor in After Care Centre for more than seven years. She is very creative, conducts art therapy and activities for the patients.
 
 
  Ms. Roshin Abraham
  She is working as a counsellor. Besides English, she has proficiency in Malayalam and Hindi. She is also a field worker in RRTC and visits centres in Andhra Pradesh to guide NGOs.
 
 
  Ms. Metilda
  She is the Intake counsellor. She is the first point of contact for clients and family members. Her role is to motivate the clients to take help.
 
 
  Mr. Shankar
  He has been working as a counsellor for the past five years. He is also involved in conducting treatment camps in villages.
 
Administration
 
  Mr. Kumaraswami
  Mr. Kumaraswami is the Manager Administration. He is also managing the Tejas Vocational Training Centre. He can be contacted for giving orders for jute wedding bags and uniforms.
 
 
  Mr.Krishnamoorthy
  Mr. Krishnamoorthy is the accountant. He oversees the accounts department.
 
 
    Ms. Parimala
 
Ms. Parimala are in charge of the reception. They provide an orientation to the family members who come for consultation.
 
Volunteers in the mainstream activities
   This institution has been singularly fortunate in having some volunteers contributing to mainstream activities.
 
  Ms. Rukmani Jayaraman
  Ms. Rukmani Jayaraman has been spending considerable time for the last 22 years in creating a long list of publications for professionals, social workers, recovering patients and their families. Rukmani’s Master Guide on addiction treatment is used as a reference book by practicing professionals, across all SAARC countries.
 
  Ms. Yoga Chandrasekar
  Yoga Chandrasekar a computer professional looks after the information management function. She has developed a CD with 30 presentations for trainers.
 
    Jaya Sadasivam and Gayathri Krishnakumar
  Jaya Sadasivam and Gayathri Krishnakumar have been conducting group therapy for families on a day-to-day basis.
 
    Mallika Ramesh
  Mallika Ramesh helps in reception and intake counseling.
 
    Vasantha Balasubramaniam and Geetha Swaminathan
  Vasantha Balasubramaniam and Geetha Swaminathan are involved in monitoring and evaluation of family therapy programme.
